Fort Dale Academy standout, Jami Barlow recently committed to play basketball for the Huntingdon Lady Hawks.

Jami, the daughter of Jimmy and Patti Barlow, will major in Human Performance and Kinesiology at Huntingdon College.

Head Women's Basketball Coach Lisa Donaldson hopes that Jami will continue to play her aggressive style of defense and provide the Lady Hawks with her ability to take the ball to the basket in crucial situations.

Barlow is no stranger to success on the court. As a Lady Eagle for Fort Dale Academy, she was a member of a State Championship team as well as taking several trips to the AISA Final Four.

Assistant Coach Sabrina Tutchtone, also a native of Greenville, is excited about the commitment of Barlow.

"It's great to see talent and desire like Jami's come from Greenville. She will now have the opportunity to continue to make Greenville, as well as Huntingdon College, proud of her accomplishments.

Barlow will begin preseason workouts with the Lady Hawks in August.
