From left, Georgiana circuit clerk Ann Browder, mayor Mike Middleton, assistant clerk Judy Black, city councilmember Joyce Cobb, Keville Larson, HW Museum board member June Whittle and Weezie Larson are on hand as Larson presents one of the W.T. Smith "Old 14" mugs and a portfolio of log train info to Middleton. Larson, the grandson of the former owner of Chapman's W.T. Smith Lumber Company, donated 118 of the mugs to be sold at the Hank Museum in Georgiana.

Students and community members have been working to put McKenzie School on the Alabama Register of Historic Landmarks. The project has involved students from grades 3 through 8 and beyond along with former students and staff at the school.
