I refuse to say yes to ANY amendment until that antiquated piece of garbage we call a State Constitution is rewritten.

but I'll do you one better.
Obama/Biden v.s. McCain/Palin, what if things were switched around?..... think about it.
Would the country's collective point of view be different? Could racism be the culprit? Ponder the following:

· What if the Obamas had paraded five children across the stage, including a three-month-old infant and an unwed, pregnant teenage daughter?

· What if John McCain was a former president of the Harvard Law Review?

· What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class?

· What if McCain had only married once, and Obama was a divorcee?

· What if Obama was the candidate who left his first wife after a severe disfiguring car accident, when she no longer measured up to his standards?

· What if Obama had met his second wife in a bar and had a long affair while he was still married?

· What if Michelle Obama was the wife who not only became addicted to painkillers but also acquired them illegally through her charitable organization?

· What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard?

· What if Obama had been a member of the Keating Five? (The Keating Five were five United States Senators accused of corruption in 1989, igniting a major political scandal as part of the larger Savings and Loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
)

· What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker?

· What if Obama couldn't read from a teleprompter?

· What if Obama was the one who had military experience that included discipline problems and a record of crashi ng seven planes?

· What if Obama was the one who was known to display publicly, on many occasions, a serious anger management problem?

· What if Michelle Obama's family had made their money from beer distribution?

· What if the Obamas had adopted a white child?

· You could easily add to this list.
If these questions reflected reality, do you really believe the election numbers would be as close as they are?

This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative qualities in another when there is a color difference.

Education isn't everything, but this is about the two highest offices in the land as well as our standing in the world. You make the call.

Posted by INI (Rob Mello) on October 28, 2008 at 2:57 p.m. (Suggest removal)

I honestly don't know where you're going with the tirade about Dr. King. splain that one.

As to education, and seeking higher office. A mayor can't run a city by him/herself without advisors. Simliarly a President surely can't either. A firm grasp of the world and its issues are then a safeguard against the kind of cronyism we see with the current president. At his disposal was a decorated well respect military man who'd been there and done that. What did he do?
Appointed him not to the DoD, but as head of teh State department!
Obama has held more jobs (outside public service) than the entire Republican ticket.
A tribute to our founding fathers that has since been usupred at every turn, there is NO religious requirements for seeking that or any office in our land. Unfortunately, and ask Mitt Romney, you've GOT to be a certain kind of Christian to even be considered serious. Colin Powell mentioned something about it this past Sunday when he endorsed Obama.
He basically was telling of how the slander against Obama (calling him mooslim etc) is not only foolish but it denigrates our very foundations as a nation. In that... even were he a Muslim, So what!? Does that make him less patriotic, less of an American? Explain the thought process there, other than trying to scare people into associating him with people that mistake their own religions (just the very same way it occurs here everyday) Powell then told of a grave marker he saw of a soldier that died in Iraq. It didn't have a cross or a star of david, but a star and a cresent moon. So, unless you're into slamming soldiers of our nation, I'd suggest a new line of attack. Maybe dealing with an issue, ANY issue, since the Mccain campaign has yet to do that.
Obama, unlike Mccain or Bush, got to college on his own merit. He came from a poor family. He got scholarships that, coupled with his intellectual abilities, allowed him to attend one of the most prestigious colleges in the world. (and he didn't get C's). In fact, he EXCELLED, in everything he did.
His birth certificate has been viewed and reviewed even by such lame "news" organizations as World Net Daily and Foxnews; and been deemed legit.
I've been to his site, but let me ask two things of you first Faster.
One- You've openly admitted being completely ignorant of Communism. Either you do the required reading or stop talking about things you yourself admit to having no knowledge of.
Two- Explain how taxes (increased or not) are in any way shape or form NOT wealth redistribution?

I wan't aware Osama had a site. It must be difficult to get service in the hills of Pakistan. Then again he may be using his family's billions and began a start up ISP.
I too look forward to the day when a black man can run for office and people consider him based on his policies, and not his race. I moreso look forward to teh day when religion takes its' rightful place on the sidelines of American Politics.

Posted by INI (Rob Mello) on October 28, 2008 at 3:04 p.m. (Suggest removal)

I also noticed a few odd things about this election, compared to the last couple we've had.
One- there's no "flip-flopper" crud mentioned. Could it be that Mccain has changed his personal politics, not to put country first, but for political expediency? For example, the choice of Sarah Palin, abortion, and energy.
I've also noticed there's no talking about his leaving his wife, who waited patiently and fearfully while he was in Vietnam for his return. Only to be rejected because she was disfigured by a car accident. WHile I can agree that Mrs. Mccain redux is definitely easy on the eyes, it's just not right.
Though I believe I understand teh beast that is American politics. If its' politically expedient for OUR side to slander the other guy, then we use it.
Bush for example, ran right over THREE decorated veterans in teh span of two elections, when his own military service is dubious at best. I thought Republicans were all about veterans, and taking care of them!

But seriously, is anyone under the impression that teh namesake son of the Director of the CIA would EVER step foot in a combat zone? lol NNnnope, that's best left to the poor. From Before Vegetius Flavius to this day it's the way it is...

Just a quote from the last one
WND also found on microfilm in the Honolulu downtown public library a notice published under the "Births, Marriages, Deaths" section of the Honolulu Sunday Advertiser for August 13, 1961, on page B-6, noting: "Mr. and Mrs. Barack II Obama. 6085 Kalanianaole-Hwy, son, Aug. 4."
lol I noted, with interest, that smack in the middle of the page is a ad for Jerry Corsi's dissertation. (I refuse to call trash a book) Is that where you've been getting the Koolaid?
You should really lay off that stuff man it warps the mind.

So let's get to those apples shall we?
Did John Mccain, upon arriving back in the States from Vietnam divorce his wife (who had waited while he was held a pow), after she was in a car accident and horribly disfigured?

Is Mccain for or against abortion?
Now that he's trying to appeal to anti-abortionists he's against it. Twas not always so...

AND THAT'S THE WEEKLY STANDARD!!!

What about Mccain reaching across the aisle for campaign finance reform? Remember the Mccain-Feingold act?

I figured you wouldn't give a damn about that lady. You have, after all, given your life over to Jesus.
I gave that link to WND because it is bona fide crap, which you didn't bother to read yourself. I noticed you said nothing about the ACTUAL ISSUE of Obama's birth certificate.
You seem incapable of operating in the realm of reality as most of the country can. I would assume that EVERY news agency would go bananas if what you claim to be true, were actually true. There's kind of a vetting process that must have infected you via John Mccain. (I hope you a speedy recovery)
John MCcain (If you read what I wrote) has changed his positions to suit the winds of change. Obama has not.
If you actually believe what you claim that a good citizen uses their heads to determine the correct path, and sticks to it... MCcain is obviously not your man.
I'm under no assumption that you would vote for Obama. Other than the flasehoods you've stated, I've my suspicions as to your ulterior motives.
and factcheck.org is THE legit fact checking site. It's funny arguing with you because it really doesn't matter how much proff I provide, I'm right and your wrong.

Faster1, I just want you to know that you crack me up... I wish I could come up with some of the words you do to prove "INI" WRONG on just about everything he types. I have found myself checking this site daily just to see the junk "INI" spews and the knowledge / facts that you (Faster1) throw right back at him. I have "LOL" (laughed out loud) many times over these post. "INI' is just as lost spiritually as the causes he stands for. I can only hope that one day he will wake up and see the truth. I have even said a prayer for the fellow, asking God to open his eyes to the truth that maybe he could be saved. It's people like "INI" that need the gospel, he is just too callus to realize it. Keep up the post, I know some people don't agree with you, but I do! :o)

I'll try to ignore your purile words and get to the meat of your...argument.
As I'm reading it you've claimed no one has seen Obama's birth certificate.
I will assume you got that nugget from Foxnews or Jerry Corsi's trash pamphlet. Either way. I will provide links to each and every issue of fact that I state. Since I've no doubt that it doesn't matter to you what proof I present, it may to a reasonable person reading this. To that (those)person(s) is to whom I'll address.

to quote teh following source: "The Hawaii Department of Health receives about a dozen e-mail inquiries a day about Obama’s birth certificate, spokesman Okubo said.

“I guess the big issue that’s being raised is the lack of an embossed seal and a signature,” Okubo said, pointing out that in Hawaii, both those things are on the back of the document. “Because they scanned the front … you wouldn’t see those things.”

Okubo says she got a copy of her own birth certificate last year and it is identical to the Obama one we received.

And about the copy we e-mailed her for verification? “When we looked at that image you guys sent us, our registrar, he thought he could see pieces of the embossed image through it.”

Still, she acknowledges: “I don’t know that it’s possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents.”

• • •
And there’s the rub. It is possible that Obama conspired his way to the precipice of the world’s biggest job, involving a vast network of people and government agencies over decades of lies. Anything’s possible.

But step back and look at the overwhelming evidence to the contrary and your sense of what’s reasonable has to take over.

There is not one shred of evidence to disprove PolitiFact’s conclusion that the candidate’s name is Barack Hussein Obama, or to support allegations that the birth certificate he released isn’t authentic.

And that’s true no matter how many people cling to some hint of doubt and use the Internet to fuel their innate sense of distrust."

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/...

but another quote I feel is very indicative of my new found friend. " “Online, they can be almost anything,” he said. “They can be the crusading investigators that they always wanted to be.” "

Consequently the Obama campaign has scanned the copy of his birth certificate and has uploaded it to the net.

The Federal Judge that ruled on that case said the claim was without merit. As the burden of proof is on the attorney that brought the suit, HE HAD NO PROOF and so that case was tossed. Rightly so. But keep heart man there's nine other states that have such foolish suits on their dockets. The judge did not say the people don't have the right to question anything.
Here's teh case log.

In fairness I did call the FEC (Federal Election COmmittee), and the man I spoke with (John) told me that there is no one body that looks at original documents of qualification. I asked him why or how that is when I need to produce EVERY document with my name on it for a frickin driver's lisence. That would be kinda a big hole in the system.
He agreed.
So that is most definitely something that should be addressed.
FEC's Office of General Counsel's General Law and Advice Division at (800) 424-9530
Obama's father was from Kenya, his mother frmo the heartland of the United States. I'm fairly confident that's been squared away so I'll leave that silliness alone.
You are definitely correct that I'm not authorized to certify anything. I use my head. You should try it sometimes. If a "news" agency habitually repeats lies, then it lacks credibility. I would argue though, that Mccain's campaign has used it when it suited them.
http://washingtonindependent.com/309/mcc...
Yet... when you swing by the Mccain site, IT'S NO LONGER THERE!
hmmm I smell a rat. I'll leave it up to the readers to determine for themselves as to teh independence of that site.
Can't say that I've ever heard of Barbara West. So I checked it out and saw the video. Here it is. I saw nothing that would make her a National Heroine. But w/e. I'm sure she'll have a job offer from Fox.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxT0ELP7a...

And... I've noticed you didn't address my question, so I'll reiterate (repeat it)
"How is any income tax, more or less money, NOT wealth redistribution?"
I've already asked you to stop speaking of things You've admitted of having no knowledge of.. so again W/E.

Since I've gotten out of the Marine Corps then the Army, I take orders from no one. It's funny to me that all the catchphrases used by your mentors are reiterated here. I wonder if you've thoughts of your own. I'd say no because you've admitted your not much of a reader. You've not read the Federalist papers, I wonder if you've read the Constitution. I get in the face of BS and liars, yes. Ask anyone that knows me. But beware the liberal bias of any friends I may have in Southern Alabama. (They're everywhere...be afraid be very afraid.)

A side note, not that its' important.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DnRYAM7Dd...

but I'll let one of your own (one with a semblance of sanity do the speaking for me. He's a ACTUAL hero. A true American hero, decorated Vietnam veteran, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Enjoy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOyD_fvTz...

But on a personal note. I do not descend from fearful people. I am proud to say that my family is of Irish and Italian ancestry, but I myself am American. As an avid lover of history I've read the annals you've not. I've read the instances of selfless heroism, and wondered about the ones that never made it to the pages of history. I (and I hope you) do not live in or with fear. I do not fear that the Democratic Presidential nominee's middle name is Hussein. I do not fear terrorism, nor war, nor Islam, nor CHristianity, nor even death. For death will inevitably come for me one day. Such tactics of fearmongering do not work on me. I am more concerned about our nation's future, our nation's standing among the others of this world. I am concerned that we no longer can say with a straight face that we hold moral sway and authority in the world. That we stand for things that are intangible, yet all the world's people yearn for. We lead by example because THAT is what leaders do.

And unless you get saved "by grace through faith" I know where you will be going when you die. Did you think that video was suppose to make me doubt my faith and my Lord Jesus Christ? I don't think so! With all the reading you "claim" you do, why don't you pick up a King James Bible and read it? After all, you should have no problem, it is written on a fifth grade reading level.

Faster- I understand where you're coming from. Since national media is either slanted for one side or the other (regrettably), one is forced to do one of three things.
One- choose a side.
Two- choose both sides, compare and figure it all out for ones'self.
Three- find an actual independent source for one's news.
Myself I do two and three. Since I refuse to pay for cable tv I get most of my news from either the radio or the net. Using the net I watch both foxnews, msnbc, and cnn.
Most recently msnbc has taken to blowing Mccain's reaction to the question If Sarah Palin was ready to step in and immediately be capable.
His reaction is what they were ragging on. Seriously, you're askign the guy to speculate on what would happen after he's dead... I wouldn't be too thrilled about discussing my own death myself. So his reaction, to me anyways, is no biggie. Do I think she's ready? No. I'm sure she's capable, eventually, but then again so am I and so are you. Conversely, is Biden ready should Obama die, yes I think he is. To more directly answer though, he has done what you asked. He's provided this proof. This begs the question, should he take the time to swing by Alabama and whip out the piece of paper for you? Would that actually make you vote for him? Of course not.
As to the video. She asked questions that really have nothing to do with Obama's policies. In your opinion you see them as being socialist/communist. Both words being interchangeable, which shows me that you lack knowledge of BOTH. One is an ecnomic system, the other is a governmental system.

I like the internet, but at the same time I dislike it. Because a face to face debate doesn't allow one to research words or definitions. You stand on your own knowledge.
I'll say it again because it bears repeating. If you do not know about something, yet you speak of it as though you did that is intellectual hypocrisy. Now, applying the very same logic as I do twoard the mainstream media (MSM) and my consumption of it, to all realms of knowledge yes I've read the COmmunist Manifesto, and Mao's "Red book". (as bad a source as wikipedia is, this article isn't too bad atall. So for a crash course here it is

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marxism

I've also read The Enlightenment thinkers such as JJ Rousseau, Montesquieu, Smith, Jefferson, Adams..the lot of them minus a few. ( gotta love the bargain bin) Also Mein Kampf, the Qur'an, the Gita, the Book of Mormon, the Bible, the Torah... among others (monkeymaze) I take in this knowledge not with a prejudicial mind that's already made up before I've read the information, but with the virginal mind that its' simply knowledge.
As to taxes. (cont)

Posted by INI (Rob Mello) on November 1, 2008 at 12:18 p.m. (Suggest removal)

An income tax (for example if every citizen of the US paid three grand per year on their income, using the paradigm of the social contract, is paid to education, defense etc ad nauseum. THe social contract basically states that we agree to allow a form of government to "rule". In exchange for freedoms we surrender as individuals, we agree as citizens of a nation to a form of representational government. In other words if the lot of Americans chose to do so we COULD do away with our current form of government and create a new one of our choice. This was espoused by not only Tom Paine, but also Tom Jefferson. (ie the Inalienable right to revolution) That when a form of government alienates its' citizens or otherwise fails to meet teh standards of those citizens, it is the People's Right and Duty to destroy it completely and start anew.
In our country the only job of the government is to provide for the common defense. This much is straight up true, yet our founder's KNEW that setting a form of government in stone is not logically sound. Because times and condition of the Republic change, so too must its' government to suit the needs of the People. Otherwise it risks being destroyed by another Revolution. SO the government has handed out freebies. Some of which I feel is good for the nation, some is counter-productive. I do not feel governmental Welfare should exist. I feel that if you are unemployed the government will pay you the VERY basics in order for you and yours to subsist, BUT you WILL work for that money. I don't care if its' reshelving books at the library or filling in potholes in the road. This speaks to the taxes as well in that as a citizen you give that money to the government in order that it provide the things you enjoy as a Citizen. You like driving on roads that won't destroy your tires for example. The American revolution is a classic example of two sides of this issue. The colonies needed protection from the French, Spanish, and Natives. The British army had to provide this, and as such the crown levelled duties on those citizens who directly benefitted from that protection, yet they did so without actual representation FOR those colonies. That's the rub. SO we rebelled (eventually). Income taxes coming from someone in ALabama to the Federal gov't help pay for roads in Oregon for example, so the answer is most definitely YES ANY income tax period is wealth redistribution.
Where it gets cloudy is this. In order for workers to be more productive, and thus drive the juggernaught of the American economy they must be healthy and happy. In a production line, for example, a worker who isn't health is slower, and so slows down production.
(cont... I hate word limits)

Posted by INI (Rob Mello) on November 1, 2008 at 1:09 p.m. (Suggest removal)

Since I'm positive neither you nor MM will read anything to do with Marxist theories because you've already made up your mind that it’s' evil I'll give the crash course in regards to workers.
He argued that owners in a capitalistic society (in order to maximize profitability, will pay their workers only enough to maintain a type of lifestyle that's acceptable to them. In America we are used to having electricity, television, among other comforts of the First World. While the worker is the one who ACTUALLY controls the profitability of anything (because they are the ones that actually make the product), he argued that its' the workers that should be the controllers of their own destinies and pay. A famous line exemplifying this is "Pay the worker before his sweat dries."
But what about when the cost of living doesn't keep up with the wage earned? This is what has happened as of late (past twenty or so years) in America. The cost of EVERYTHING steadily rises, yet the wage earned either remains the same or otherwise drops. For example, good luck getting ANY overtime in the service based industry.
In essence, as a wage laborer you trade that labor for a wage. (I've had this argument with many co-workers who claim they don't get paid to do X.) Yeah they do. If you feel you don't get paid enough to do the work asked of you, then you should have negotiated better in the hiring process. Yet... in a day when many parents need two jobs each to make ends meet or even get ahead it gets more difficult to swallow the news of Corporations making record profits. THAT is the rub of our current state of affairs. So, the way I see it there's a few possibilities. One of which is to go down the road of Communism. (I can see the faces right now lol) the other is to give the workers the pay hike that they need in order to maintain the Capitalistic economy. There are other ways, but word limits suck.
But, and no I'm not being facetious, I truly cannot see how no one can connect the dots between the "lack of morals" in America and our economic system. The very basis of the system lies within its' name.

Posted by INI (Rob Mello) on November 1, 2008 at 1:10 p.m. (Suggest removal)

Capitalism. Capital is defined (broadly) as "worth" in short how much is the dollar or a pound of gold or stock in a company etc worth. The economic system revolves around maximizing capital. Now, CEO's will do almost anything to make their company MORE profitable everyday, because if they do not the shareholders of that company (seeing their balance sheets not move up where its' profitable for them to own pieces of that company) will put them out on their hindquarters.
Sorry for the length of that, and if you actually read it all I appreciate your patience. But I know what your saying man. I feel the same way in that We ARE the owners of this country, yet... the very same hallowed document states there is no religious test for the Presidency, yet is that really so? Of course not. We will probably never see an Atheist as the President. Likewise, nor would we probably see a Jew or a Muslim. It also states that any natural born citizen can be the President, yet is that so? Look at our Congresses, from State to Federal. How many poor capable people do you see there?
The answer is none. This is because wealth buys power and influence. Not being correct or capable, but wealth. Wealth buys college education, regardless of merit; wealth can make you into what you desire it to. THAT is the source of our lack of morals in the country. It's true that the root of all evil is the overwhelming desire for money. We see it everyday. From the TV show "fear factor" where people are willing to eat ...stuff for 50 grand. I moved to the South from Boston because I would walk down the street and see vice literally everywhere. From gluttony to greed; from pride to wrath. Everywhere I looked someone was grabbing for that almighty dollar, and it made me mad. THAT is not what life is about to me, and even though I posses the abilities to probably make alot of money, I don't chase it. I work, and am very good at my job. I am a cook. I feed people for a living, and there's nothing that makes me happier than to see someone whose belly is full of the food that passed through my hands, and they smile at me and say "That was goooood stuff man." That's awesome to me.

Onto our discussion, and apologies again for getting off-track.
Are you seriously under the impression that wealthy people want MORE wealthy people? This would take away from their own wealth. No Sir, you've got to TAKE it, you've got to reach for the golden ring while riding the carousel. This is what Palin has done, even though she's in wayyyy over her head, I can't fault her for it. I'd have to give it some serious though, but I would probably jump at the chance too! As I'm sure you would.
The Constitution also has an Amendment titled 16th. Your argument that ""...All Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States."" is indeed in the Constitution also. It's contained the legislative portion. Uniformly, this means that New Yorkers aren't to pay more than Alabamians. That the Federal income tax is to be uniform. This makes the case for a flat tax argument. BUT what you must have missed, or ignored, is that ALL gains in wealth are to be taxed. There's a case that was brought before the Supreme Court Conner V US in that a couple's house burned down, and their insurance paid them. They sued because (from what I understand) the gov't taxed that payment check. IT was found that because it was a sort of reimbursement and not a gain in wealth, that the gov't had no cause to tax it.
The fruits of my labor are and have been taken from me, unfairly and extra legally, via the family courts system. SO you can keep that one.
As to courage and heart, let's not go there. Simply because I’m positive my curriculum vitae compared to yours is like apples and oranges.
I state what I do about you because, regardless of which agency you take your news from, the logic and consequently the talking points are all the same. They are all slanted to suit your predisposed opinion.

I do wish the media weren't slanted to either side. As it stands I've already addressed that. I listen only to Hannity, as my ears tend to bleed, and I can say that there was one time that I was ridiculously happy for him. It was when he had that wacky Phelps lady on, and he grilled her good. I laughed and actually tried to call in. Even told them I was a rabid liberal so I COULD get on, and thank him for doing that. (didn't get on) The only one of those I know of is Colmes, and I can say that he's a fairly even headed guy. He calls out the other side because he's got to team up with apeman who conversely hits the otherside. The others you'd mentioned I don't know who they are so...
I'm good with Sirius radio though, but I appreciate the offer.
as to your parting shot I'll leave it alone.
Again, sorry for the length of it all. My family's had some things going on, and there is alot more on my mind than the Advocate, you, MM, or the election.
hope it helped and have a good one.

MM- That was quite mean considering I'm the only one (that I've seen) that expressed any concern for your kids' health. And I'll do it again. I hope they're A-ok. :)
It must be comforting to KNOW that you're actually going somewhere when you die. Even more so that you're going to a land of milk and honey or whatnot. As to where you assume I'll be going, if anywhere other than the dirt, I've always found it insanely funny that your god loves me, so much so that he sent my brother (Jesus) to die for me. That's great, and truly a form of unselfishness that you don't get to see too much. But ... if he loves me so much why would he put me there? I mean, if I go to Dante's fifth circle for example where I get to kick and scream in agony forever and ever... is that really love to you!? Would you do that to your kids? I hope not.
Myself I don't care what my kids do to me or what they think. I love them. Straight up. There’s no precondition to my love for them. But I guess for some fear is a great motivator. SO what you're saying is that because I might go to your hell I should start believing what you do...? That doesn't sound to me like an all loving god that sounds like a tyrant to me. Then again, I'm not you so.
Actually, that video was supposed to make you laugh. The man was a comedian, and he was also a Roman Catholic, which is what he was joking on. Since I'll assume your protestant and so detest the...decadance of the catholics I figured you'd laugh about it.
Actually the KJV is sitting right next to me on top of the NIV, which sits on top of the Qur'an, which sits atop the big ol dictionary. Yeah, I've read it, many times. But unlike you I don't pick on people for believing what they want. I will rag you if you try to shove it down my or mines' throats. Like the clown off Manningham with the lighted cross in the back of his pickup truck, who told my daughter that her parents are evil. lol Initially I was mad and really wanted to show him the other side of his nose, but then I remembered that once a person is under the impression that as a flawed mortal they completely understand everything their god wants them to do, and in fact had commanded them to do the results... well you can ask the Hittites, Girgashates, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites. Wait... they aren't around anymore. lol

I thank you for asking about my daughter, she is doing much better. God will send you to a place like hell for not accepting Jesus Christ as your savior, that is the long and short of it. He loved you enough to send Jesus to die for you, for YOUR sins. If you don't accept that Jesus died for your sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ with all thine heart, then you won't be going to heaven. You sometimes seem like an intelligent man, I just don't agree with you on many things. I didn't get past the first few minutes of that video, once he said invisible god and 10 commandments I turned it off. I would not tell anyone that someone was evil for not being saved. Some people do go to extremes. But I would witness to you and your family if I knew you were not saved.

MM- You're very welcome. I got to give you credit for actually trying the video. lol Perhaps some humor is too crude, or too honest. Depends on your perspective. What I'd hoped to show you was that even though you know with all your heart that you're right, you might not be. I might not be for that matter. All the people in the annals of human history that have been tortured, murdered, slandered, intimidated, all of it... could all have been for naught.
As to Jesus dying for my sins, while I wasn't even liquid yet.. well. I'd say we disagree. Fair enough? I refuse to denigrate anyone's beliefs, because I wouldn't want them to do it to me. Though some are easier targets than others. I believe you'd know it as the golden rule or, "Do unto others..."
But for you to say someone is not evil for not believing as you do, I'd have to cry mularkey on it. It's intrinsic in the ideology that you spread the knowledge you believe you possess. Yet, I wonder how much independent study you've actually done? I'm not picking or slighting you in any way. Seriously. I sense you don't have vehemence in your heart, so writing such things or saying them isn't in you. It's in faster no doubt, and myself. I can be pretty mean when I want to be. It's just not in some to do it. You fall into the latter category I believe.
but I appreciate the sentiment.

As to you my new found friend Faster1.
I'm done speaking with you until you show the respect for Obama that you demand of Mccain.
So, with your quasi knowledge of the limited bit you've heard on your radio go forth. Tell the People about Mrs. Palin and her ineptitude.
Show them with all your heart how Mccain doesn't EXACTLY reflect the ideals that got us here.
To remind the readers:
Ignore repeated warnings from the leading counter terrorism official.
Appoint cronies to offices they should never have held.
Give the Attorney General's job to a man that lost a state election TO A DEAD MAN.
ZERO reaction to the worst attack on our nation since Pearl Harbor... for ten minutes!
Not finishing Afghanistan BEFORE invading Iraq. ( you should know you repeat his name every other word)
Botched Iraq plan.
Compeltely mishandled the response to hurricaine Katrina.
Lied about not one, not two, but THREE decorated war heros to attain office.
Alienated most of our allies.
Allowed North Korea to attain nuclear weapons.
Turned a blind eye to the outting of a CIA agent.
all that and much more.
Now think... if it was Bill Clinton that did those things. I almost forgot the cheese on the cake. TOLD the American people tht ANY person involved in the outting of Valerie Plame would be prosecuted.... but he neglected to mention the part where the pardon comes in once convicted in a COURT OF LAW.
Not one thing... Correction a law against child porn comes to mind. Ok, One good thing has come from the past administration. Now you're asking the People of the United States to tolerate more of it?
You are out of your mind homie. Don't bother responding because I won't.

notice I didn't say a word about the failing economy or the Bush tax cuts.
OR
lol the "Bush doctrine."
