BCMS hosts MLK Classic Monday

Published Friday, January 15, 2010

Butler County Magnet School will host the MLK Classic Basketball Tournament on Monday with four of the top teams in the area scheduled to participate, said Panthers’ head coach Kirk Norris.

“We are very excited to be hosting the first MLK Classic at Butler County Magnet School this year,” said Norris. “We have a great lineup of games scheduled this year with a lot of very good teams. Brantley's boys come in ranked No. 2 in the state in 1A and Leroy's boys are ranked No. 9 in 2A. Monroe County brings a very athletic and good 5A team to the classic as well. On the girls side we also have good match-ups in each game.”
