CRAFT DAY: Several children participated in the Luverne Public Library’s Craft Day on Monday, Jan. 26. Library Director Kathryn Tomlin read the books “Brownie and Pearl Step Out” and “Cat up a Tree” before helping the children make their own cat ears to wear. Also attending was Samson, the 16-pound tomcat, who enjoyed all the attention.

Pictured with Assistant Director Regina Grayson (in back) and Samson are: Hun Won Choi, Min Woo, Min Seo Kim, HaYeong Jin, Haiden Davis, Collin Williamson, Gracie Smith, Kaitlyn Smith, J.J. Jones, Daneion Olive, Maddie Smith, Brook Watson, Tanner Watson, Libbey Jones, John Robert Holladay, Anna Katherine Holladay, Jeremiah Holladay, Hyeok Jin, and Owen Self.

The next Craft Day will be Monday, Feb. 8, at 4 p.m., complete with a “jumping frog” contest and a Valentine’s Day craft.
