Pep Rally for GHS versus Demopolis game

Published Wednesday, October 14, 2009

Greenville High School will host a community-wide pep rally on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Tiger Stadium, weather permitting, said principal Dr. Charles Farmer.

School officials are expecting a big crowd Friday night for the Tigers' regional battle against visiting Demopolis. The game will likely decide the region title.

Farmer said Tiger Stadium can hold upwards to 2,100 people on the home side with a maxium capacity of an estimated 4,000.

“We’ll be working overtime this week with crowd control,” said Farmer. - From Staff Reports
