Car chase ends in meth arrests
Published Friday, June 26, 2009
Deputies arrested two men suspected of making methamphetamines on Wednesday, culminating an investigation that lasted over several months, said Sheriff Kenny Harden.
Westley Allen Kilgore, 26, and Shelton Bryan Stinson, 25, were each charged with manufacturing methamphetamines, 2nd degree, said Harden.

On Wednesday afternoon, deputies converged on Crocker’s Grocery on Pineapple Highway, where they discovered the pair sitting outside inside Stinson’s black Ford Ranger pick-up truck, said Harden. Harden said investigators received word the two men would be meeting there, but when deputies tried to apprehend the suspects Kilgore leapt from the truck carrying a bag and tried to run.
Kilgore was apprehended on the scene, said Harden, but Stinson sped off in the truck and deputies gave chase. While fleeing the scene, Harden said Stinson tossed bags from the truck before stopping on County Road 15 where he was arrested. The chase lasted for under two miles, said Harden.
Kilgore was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Stinson was charged with attempting to elude, possession of drug paraphernalia and reckless endangerment.
“We don’t want any drugs in Butler County,” said Harden. “But we certainly don’t want meth.”

Everyone in butler county knows Bryan Stinson is innocent and wasa just in the wrong place. He has be falsely accoused by the police and his name has be put through the gutter. I think the cops need to get their story straight and stop putting innocent people in jail knowing they've done nothing wrong. And Meth is a drug soo if they dont want drugs in butler county but esepically not meth i hate it for the cops meth is a drug its nothing different and its all over butler county just like the rest.

mmm. maybe. but everybody knows that innocent people don't run, or throw the evidence out the window. most INNOCENT people would calmly get out of the truck, and comply with the police. running implies guilt. sorry to burst your bubble.
and obviously, the man is pointing out that they don't want drugs in butler county, but definitely not meth. he never said meth wasn't a drug. re-read the passage before you make yourself look bad.
