Published Monday, June 22, 2009

Crenshaw County teachers Connie Jacobs of Highland Home and Lisa Lawrence of Luverne Elementary were among more than 90 educators attending the 2009 Alabama Agriculture In The Classroom Institute in Prattville on June 16-18.

During the three-day workshop, teachers toured area farms, participated in hands-on activities and discovered ways to educate their students about the role of agriculture in their lives.
