Published Tuesday, June 9, 2009
Tractor Supply Company is coming to Greenville.
Mayor Dexter McLendon said the nationwide retail farm and ranch store will occupy approximately 23,000 square feet of space in the former Winn Dixie building at Interstate Plaza.
"This is good news to hear, especially considering the economy the way it is," said McLendon.

I think it is great to bring new businesses to Greenville, but why bring something that is going to possibly hurt or close other businesses where home grown folks are employed. I think sometimes we need to look a little further down the road before we make commitments. We need to strive for new/different ventures that won't hurt the ones already here.
