Senior Mikwese Claybourne scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help lead Greenville (3-1) to a win at home over the visiting Poets, 82-68.
Along with Claybourne, the Tigers posted three other players in double figures: Nick McHenry had 19, Brently Hill had 11, and Za'darius Smith posted a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.
Greenville played at Monroe County on Friday night and hosts Hillcrest-Evergreen tonight. Tip-off is 4:30 p.m.
