Sister Schubert visits LBWCC-Luverne

Published Friday, December 4, 2009

Sister Schubert (Patricia Barnes) visited the ESL class at the Lurleen B. Wallace Community College Center in Luverne.

The class used the October Guideposts magazine article about Sister Schubert to practice reading English and as a link to the study of English "bread idioms."

Examples of bread idioms are "Cast your bread upon the waters" and "The greatest thing since sliced bread.”

After Sister gave a brief history of her business, class members were given the opportunity to ask questions.
