Eagle players chosen for All-Star game

Seven Fort Dale athletes have been selected to represent the Eagles at the AISA All-Star game.

For the football team, linemen Aaron Callen, Kendall Gibson, Matt Causey and running back Jeffrey Stead will see playing time.

Fort Dale also had three cheerleaders selected to play in the game: Anna Beth Harris, Caroline Dunklin and Elizabeth Dunklin.

In addition to the players and cheerleaders, head coach Speed Sampley will serve as a coach for the East squad.

The AISA All-Star Football game will be played this Thursday at Stanley-Jensen Stadium in Prattville, beginning at 7 p.m.

Admission for students is $5, and $7 for adults.
