Gloria Lindsey Tanner, 61, a resident of Selma, Ala., and former resident of Montgomery, Ala., died June, 5. A celebration of life service will be Thursday, June 9 at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville, Ala., with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park in Greenville, Ala.  The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. prior to the service.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Mattie Lindsey; sister, Shirley Ann Bowden; and niece, Shannon Bowden. She is survived by her husband, Michael Gene Tanner of Selma, Ala.; children, Lee (Catherine) Tanner of Greenville, Ala., Heather (David) Lyons Sr. of West Point, Ga., and Brandon Tanner of Selma, Ala.; grandchildren, Olivia (Derrick) Williams of Greenville, Ala., Kendall Gibson of Mobile, Ala., Kyle Tanner of Lompoc, Calif., Jared Tanner and Chloe Sawicki both of Greenville, Ala., Tanner-Lindsey Lyons of Troy, Ala., Harrison Lyons Jr., Callen Tanner and Chapel Tanner all of Selma, Ala.; sister, Lisa (Tim) Talley of Montgomery, Ala.; brothers, Jimmy “Buddy” (Joanne) Lindsey of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Chris Lindsey of Montgomery, Ala.; many nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and nephews. She was very much loved by all of her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
