Lee Earnest Robinson

Funeral services for Mr. Lee Earnest Robinson were held on Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m. from St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Dennis McCants officiated.  Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery. Mr. Lee Earnest Robinson was born to the late Mr. O. D. (Baby) Robinson and Mrs. Jessie M. Jordan-Robinson on June 17, 1943.

At an early age he was baptized at Spring Hill Baptist Church in Forest

Home, Ala. Later, the family moved to Greenville, Ala., and he joined St. Paul Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C. C. Garrett. He attended Greenville Training School and Lomax Hannon Jr. College.

He met and married Mrs. Jessie Walker and to this union one child was

born. He later moved to Birmingham, Ala., where he attended Bryan Chapel AME Zion under the leadership of Rev. Little John.

He retired from Stockham Cast Iron Company after 38 years of service.

He was preceded in death by two sons, Steven and Cory Robinson, and two brothers, Mr. Robert and Mr. Isaiah Robinson.

He departed this life on April 8 at North Hill Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Birmingham, Ala.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons and two daughters, Lee Earnest (Sheila) Frost; Derrick Keith (Carolyn) Frost, and Annie Margaret

Williams all of Greenville, AL; and Tasha  (Marice) Spigner, Birmingham, Ala.; a loving mother, Mrs. Jessie M. Robinson; three brothers,  D. D. (Mattie) Robinson, Greenville, Ala.; Joe Nathan (Nancy) Davis both of Pensacola, Fla., and Troyee Free Spirit of Tuskegee, Ala.; six sisters, Willie M Moody, Mobile, Ala.; Eula R. Brown, Margaret Robinson, Rev. Abbie Jackson, Evangelist Carolyn Griffin, Betty (Jimmie) Scott all of Greenville, Ala.; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and six stepchildren, including two devoted, Rev. Dawanne and David Hicks of Birmingham, Ala.
