Funeral services for Mrs. Daisy Mae Lewis Hines were held on Wednesday, April 13 at 11 a.m. from Ridgeville Baptist Church. Rev. Demus Smith officiated. Burial followed in the churchyard cemetery.

Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville, Ala., directed.  Daisy L. Hines was born Oct. 2, 1939 in Forest Home, Ala., to the late Marshall and Novella Lewis.

She accepted Christ at an early age and remained faithful until her health failed.

She resided in Knoxville, Tenn., with her two sons until God called her home.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Marshall Lewis II, Willie Van Lewis, Henry C. Lewis and MacArthur Lewis.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted sons, Lynn Lewis, Greenville, Ala., Anthony Hines and Arnie Lewis, both of Knoxville, Tenn.; sister, Eddie Louise Pugh, Greenville, Ala.; brother, Jimmie (Earnestine) Lewis, Pensacola, Fla.; five loving grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
