Avonell Reynolds, 95, a resident of Birmingham, Ala., and formerly of Greenville, Ala., passed away March 29. A celebration of life service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 from Midway Baptist Church with Rev. Wallace Newton and Rev. Herbert Brown officiating. Burial followed in Damascus Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directed arrangements. Survivors include son, Paul (Joan) Reynolds, Birmingham, Ala.; grandsons, Lee Stacey (Andrea) Reynolds, Lyle (Jennifer) Reynolds and Cameron (Ashton) Reynolds, all of Birmingham, Ala.; brothers, Jeff Phelps, Honoraville, Ala., Terry Phelps, Madison, Ala.; and sister, Katie Reynolds, Honoraville, Ala.
