Ruby Dee Gorum, 78, a resident of Greenville, Ala., passed away Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015. A celebration of life service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 from the Johnson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Gaston and Lil Pouncey officiating. Burial followed in Hopewell Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directed arrangements. Survivors include daughter, Sandy (Louie, Jr.) Smith, Greenville; sons, Chuck (Mary) Gorum, Georgiana, and Buck (Penny Bowen), Greenville; sister, Reby Lambeth, Montgomery; grandchildren, Blair (Doug Davis) Gorum, Georgiana, and Lacey Hagler, Ariton, Ala.; and great-grandchildren, Barret Hilburn and Hudson Hagler.
