Earnest Melvin Brown Sr., a resident of Georgiana, Ala., passed away Friday, Oct. 30, 2015. A celebration of life Service was held Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015 from the Johnson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial followed in East Chapman Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directed arrangements. Survivors include wife, Marilyn Brown, Georgiana; daughter, Diane Brown Kimbrough, Troy, Ala.; son, Earnest Melvin Brown Jr., Foley, Ala.; brother, Gant Brown, McKenzie, Ala.; grandchildren, Deana Elmore, Troy, Diana Candelaria, Millbrook, Ala., Jeremy Benjamin Brown, Albuquerque, N.M., and Rachel Brown Burnham, Foley.
