Merle B. Vickery, 88, a resident of Montgomery, Ala., and former resident of Greenville, died Thursday, July 23. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville, Ala., with Rev. Billy Croley officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  The interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Park.

Mrs. Vickery was preceded in death by husband, Douglas L. Vickery; son, Larry Vickery; and daughter-in-law, Ethel Vickery.  She is survived by her son, Robert D. Vickery (Cynthia) of Montgomery, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, eight great great-grandchildren; brother, Tommy L. Brown (Ellen) of Prattville, and many nieces and nephews.
