Margie Ruth Sansom Whiddon, 68, a resident of Honoraville, Ala., died June 27.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home in Greenville.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Mrs. Whiddon was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Nancy Bell Sansom, and brother, Johnnie Ray Sansom.  She was survived by her husband, Melvin E. Whiddon of Honoraville; son, Wayne Whiddon (Aimie); granddaughter, Courtney Whiddon of Honoraville, Ala.; brothers, James Sansom (Jerry) of Birmingham, Ala., and Tommy Sansom of Prattville, Ala.; sister-in-law, Carol Sansom of Georgiana, Ala.; nieces and nephews, Becky S. Maxted (Charles) of Gulf Shores, Ala., Kim Haggard of Rossville, Ga., and Wesley Sansom of Orange Beach, Ala.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to: American Lung Association of Alabama, P.O.
