Mr. Elson Horne, 88, a resident of Honoraville, Ala., died suddenly on June 2 at his residence. A graveside service was held June 4 at Panola Cemetery with Rev. Jim Looney officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Horne is preceded in death by his parents, Everette and Berdia Lee Horne and two brothers, Grady Horne and Howard Horne. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Frazier Horne; four sons, Myles T. Horne, Mickey (Lu Ann) Horne, Stuart (Beverly) Horne, and Craig (Donna) Horne; 10 grandchildren, Melanie (Chris) Matthews, Wesley (Anna Marie) Horne, Erick Horne, Chad (Jessica) Horne, Dustin Horne, Kyle Horne, Adam Horne, Clay Horne, Colby Horne, and Dylan Horne; and three great-grandchildren, Ava and Greyson Matthews and Bennett Horne.  Grandsons served as active and honorary pallbearers.
