Michael Brown, a native of Greenville, Ala., passed away on May 18. Brown was born on Nov. 28, 1944.  He graduated from Greenville High School in 1963. Brown served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the United States Navy.  He received his associate pastoral degree in 1982 from the New Orleans Theological Seminary. Brown is survived by his wife, Anita Brown of Perdidio Beach, Fla.; son, Ralph Michael Brown II (Anita); daughter, Tamara Brown; daughter, Jodie Carroll (John); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Frieda B. Cross of Fort Deposit, Ala.; sister, Elizabeth B. Harris (Don) of Montgomery, Ala.; and brother Bill Brown (Peggy) of Greenville, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his parents Blanche and Fred Brown; brother, Richard Brown; and sister, Judy Youngblood.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 23, at 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Greenville with the Rev. Michael Moses and Rev. Don Yancey officiating.
