The Butler County Humane Society wants you to “go there, do that and buy the T-shirt” as part of a new crowd-funding campaign through www.booster.com.

“We’ve set a goal of selling 75 T-shirts. I don’t know if we will make it, but we are certainly going to try,” said Herbert Morton, BCHS president. “We have considerable expenses every month, and this event could go a long way in helping defray costs. And it’s a great way to show you care about the animals.”

The red Gildan Ultra cotton T-shirts are $20 each and feature graphic designs and lettering in white on both the front and back. The shirts come in a range of sizes from youth extra small to an adult size 4XL.

The T-shirt campaign is now underway and will continue through Wed., March 18. Animal lovers can go to the BCHS’s campaign page and choose the sizes and number of T-shirts needed. The site accepts all major credit/debit cards and PayPal.

The order will be processed after the March 18 cutoff and should be delivered to Greenville by Wed., April 1.

Donors will be able to pick them up at Morton’s Met Life office downtown as well as at the April 8 BCHS meeting at the Camellia City Bakery.

“Go to the site, read about what we do and consider ordering a T-shirt — or two or three. It really is all about the animals, and that’s a great cause,” Morton said.
