Annie Mae Eady

 

Annie Mae Eady, 71, a resident of Georgiana, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014. A celebration of life service was held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 20l14 from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Sexton and Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial followed in Milner Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directed arrangements. Survivors inlcude: husband, Dewey Eady, Georgiana; daughters, Mary Lois (Danny) Harrell and Loretta (Darrell) Smith, both of Greenville, and Bonny McGhee, Georgiana; sons, Rocky (Debora) Eady, Forest Home, and Wilson Eady, Georgiana; sister, Elaine (Randy) Sexton, Rutledge; brother, Cleveland Boatwright, Atmore; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mabel Willmerth Pouncey Newton

 

Mabel Willmerth Pouncey Newton, age 92, a resident of Greenville, died on Mon., Dec. 22, 2014.  Funeral services were held on Tues., Dec. 23, in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Taunton officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.

Burial followed in Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Newton was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Earl Newton; parents, Ira and Annie Pouncey; granddaughter, Denise Brown; siblings, Neva Bozeman, Nathan Pouncey and Ann McNaughton; and son in law, John Lide. She is survived by her children, Ronald Newton (Edna), Jean Tutchtone (Pete), Janice Lide and Judy Langford, all of Greenville; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; beloved friend, John Smith of McKenzie; and many nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were Shane Langford, Will Langford, P.J. Tutchtone, Stevie Newton, Jarrod Newton and Sam Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Langford, Jim Shockley and Bob Powell.

Linda Jean Tindal

 

Linda Jean Tindal, age 63, a resident of Greenville, died on Sun., Dec. 21, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Fri., Dec. 26, 2014, in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Brown officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral home directing.

Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Ms. Tindal was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Jean Dixon Tindal. She is survived by her father, Grady Otto Tindal of Deatsville, Ala.; brother, Michael Grady Tindal of Austin, Texas; sister, Janet Dale Tyler (Michael) of Deatsville; and nephew, Jeffrey Brian Gardner (Marley) of Millbrook.
