Mrs. Linda Ruth Morris, 65, a resident of Luverne, died on Tues., Dec. 16, 2014. A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. on Fri., Dec. 19, 2014 from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Lee officiating and Turner Funeral Home directing. A private interment followed in Rutledge Cemetery.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Beatrice Stubbs, and two sisters, Loretta Ray and Elaine Stubbs.

She is survived by Martha Faulk, Elizabeth (Mike) Watson and Ruby (Bryon) Benchley; her brother, Emory (Betty) Stubbs, Jr.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers were Emory Stubbs, Mike Watson, Roy Hale, Kenny Wayne Frazier, Ronnie Wilson and Mickey Stubbs.

The family received friends at the funeral home Friday morning.
