Johnnie L. Reeves, age 67, a resident of Luverne, died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014. Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Home Baptist Church with Reverend Johnny Jones and Pastor Steve Defee officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Ms. Reeves is survived by her daughter, Tina R. Faulkner (Danny Davis) of Luverne; grandsons, Chris Reeves and wife Sabrina of Weatherford, Okla. and Barry Reeves of Honoraville; three great-grandchildren Madison Reeves, Jayden Reeves and Carmen Reeves; brother and sister-in-law, Wilburn and Sharon Kirkland of Troy; brother Randall Kirkland; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Thurman and Doris Reeves of Troy, Bobby and Bettie Reeves of Brantley, Billy and Agnes Reeves of Andalusia, Connie Hayes of Luverne, Doris Boswell and Dollie Owens of Luverne.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Olin Reeves, her mother Louise Kirkland and father John Thulin.

Pallbearers were Barry Reeves, Tommy Reeves, Donnie Reeves, Jamie Edwards, Michael Boswell and Kenny Wayne Owens.
