Mrs. Pennye Renee Carden Rogers, 51, a resident of Pine Apple, Ala., passed away Aug. 29.  Funeral services were held Sept. 2 in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial followed in the Awin Church of Christ cemetery. Mrs. Rogers was preceded in death by father, Mitchell Carden. She is survived by her husband, David Roy Rogers; mother, Ann Carden; four sisters, Rebecca Ponder (Arnold), Trudy Foy (Barry), Mitchellene Works (Randall), all of Pine Apple, Ala., and Sharon Ann Burroughs of Greenville, Ala., and several nieces and nephews.  For online condolences visit www.dunklinanddanielsfh.com.
