Georgiana’s Ginny and Charleston Coker are champions — again.

For the third consecutive year, the twins captured first place in the children’s doubles division of the 39th World Championship Domino Tournament in Andalusia.

The siblings, who first competed in the tournament five years ago, began playing dominos when they were just 2 years old.

The World Championship Domino Tournament in Andalusia is sponsored by the Andalusia Rotary Club, which began the tournament in 1976 in response to a challenge issued to each civic club in Andalusia to sponsor one event in the country’s bicentennial.

The Coker twins are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Coker of Georgiana, and the grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Jernigan of Georgiana and Mr. Ernest B. Coker of Greenville.
