Christine Stokes, 90, a resident of Andalusia, Ala., passed away on Friday, June 20. Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 23, at the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Bethel West Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing arrangements. Ms. Stokes is preceded in death by her husband, Claud Elmer Stokes; son, Eddie Stokes; sisters, Myrtle Sowell, Francis Crymes; brothers, Junior Williams, J.T. Williams, Glen Williams, Luther Williams. Survivors include: daughter, Barbara (Ralph) Simmons, Andalusia; sisters, Winnie Lanier, Red Level, Ala., Eva Ballard, Andalusia; grandchildren, Mollie Riley, Stacey Diamond, Steven Stokes, Chris Stokes; great-grandchildren, Carrie Cettle, Cody Helms, William Diamond, Reagan Diamond, Carson Diamond.
