McKenzie School’s Branden Miller went 2-for-2 with two RBIs to help power the Tigers to an 8-4 win over Red Level High School on Monday.

“Branden did a really good job at the plate for us and got two timely hits,” McKenzie head coach Tony Norris said.

Norris also praised the play of Jeffrey Fuller, who tossed 4.1 innings for McKenzie.

“He threw really well for us and completed every pitch,” Norris said.

Condie Pugh was 1-for-2 with two RBIs and Harper Vinson was 1-for-4 with two RBIs. Roscoe Moorhead had two hits in the win.

“It was nice to get a win, but I felt like we weren’t completely focused,” Norris said. “I feel like a lot of that is because it was the first game since spring break.”
