FDA places four on AISA all-star teams

Fort Dale Academy was well represented at Friday’s Alabama Independent School Association All-Star Basketball game at Montgomery’s Huntingdon College.

Seniors Nedra Toulmin Crosby, Hannah Johnson and Mary Sanford Perdue represented the Lady Eagles, while senior Chip Taylor represented the Eagles.

Taylor helped lead the West squad to a 111-95 win over the East, while the East scored a 72-57 victory in girls action.

The East MVP for the boys game was Pike Liberal Arts School’s Chandler Avant, while Kingwood Christian School’s C’yontai Lewis was named MVP for the West.

Glenwood School’s Tamara York earned MVP honors for the East, while Sparta Academy’s April Palmer was named the West squad’s MVP.
