Fort Dale Academy’s Chip Taylor scored 25 points to help power Fort Dale Academy to a 57-32 win over Pike Liberal Arts School on Saturday in Troy.

Taylor connected on 11-of-18 attempts (61.1 percent) and pulled down nine rebounds. He also had four assists and five steals.

Ryan Burkett added 14 points on the strength of a 4-for-7 effort from beyond the arc. He also had four rebounds and two assists.

Taylor Thomas scored seven points, while John Coleman Poole, Austin Vickery and Phillip Cole each had three points. Hayden Davis scored two points in the win.

Fort Dale will return to action Thursday when it takes on Hooper Academy in Hope Hull. Junior varsity action will begin at 4 p.m. with varsity boys and girls action set to follow.
