Fort Dale Academy’s Taylor Thomas came off the bench to score 19 points to lead the Eagles to a 62-50 win over Sparta Saturday in the consolation game of the Fort Dale Christmas Tournament.

“Taylor really shot the ball well for us,” Mantooh said. “He is capable of scoring for us and we are looking for him to be more aggressive offensively.”

Chip Taylor added 16 points and 12 rebounds and Michael Padalino chipped in eight points and nine rebounds.

The Eagles lost their first round contest 42-40 to Springwood School.

Taylor scored 17 points and pulled down 15 rebounds.

Ryan Burkett added nine points and John Coleman Poole chipped in six points.
