A man accused of shooting a Greenville man to death has been arrested by the Montgomery Police Department.

Authorities arrested 31-year-old Kawasaki Johnson Tuesday for the shooting death of 34-year-old Anthony Bailey of Greenville.

Johnson has been charged with capital murder. He is being held in the Montgomery County Detention Facility where he is being held without bond.

According to authorities, Bailey was shot at approximately 8:30 p.m. Paramedics responded to the 1900 block of Hilldale Drive in the Gibbs Village community and transported Bailey to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Bailey is Montgomery’s 43rd homicide of the year.
