LBW Foundation creates Seth Hammet Endowed Scholarship

The LBW Community College Foundation recently established an endowed scholarship in honor of Seth Hammett, LBWCC president emeritus. The LBW Community College Foundation recently established an endowed scholarship in honor of Seth Hammett, LBWCC president emeritus. The LBW Community College Foundation recently established an endowed scholarship in honor of Seth Hammett, LBWCC president emeritus.

The signing was held prior to the start of the 8th annual LBWCC/Camellia City Classic on Wednesday at Cambrian Ridge. The tournament helps raise funds for student scholarships and activities.

Hammett is served as Speaker of the House for 12 years. He was first elected to the State House in 1978. He served 32 years in the Alabama Legislature.
