Daisy Jeanette Schofield Jackson, 88, a resident of Georgiana, passed away on Friday,  Aug. 16. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 18 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev Randy Harvill officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana directing arrangements. The family will receive friends Saturday, Aug. 17 at Johnson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Jackson; parents, Edgar Hugh and Lula Hillard Rodgers; son, Herman Jr. Schofield and sisters, Inez Bonner, and Louise Hillard. Ms. Jackson is survived by her daughters, Judy (Philip) Schofield of Mobile, Joyce Schofield and Donnie Faye (David) Boggan, both of  Greenville, Carolyn (Mark) Downing and Romana (Charles) Knighton, both of Blakely, Ga.; sons, Donnie (Sandra) Schofield of Greenville and Allen Wayne (Charmane) Schofield of Georgiana; brother, James (Judy) Rodgers of Montevallo; 32 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren.
