Funeral services for the late Mr. Stephen Johnson were held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 1 p.m. from First Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Kim Yarber served as pastor and Rev. Maxine Waddell officiated. Burial followed in Magnolia Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville directed. Stephen was born July 15, 1959 to the late Ms Mary Alice Johnson and the late Paul Rueben. Early in life his life he joined the Zion Rest A.M.E. Zion Church of Forest Home.   Later he join the First Missionary Baptist Church until he left Alabama, and moved to Florida.   In 2007 he moved to Atlanta, where he remained until the Lord call him to come home. He departed this life Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Emory University Hospital Downtown Atlanta. He was preceded in death by one brother, Mr. Lionel Johnson Sr.  Mourning his loss but cherishing his memories are surviving sibling Mr. Laray Johnson of Montgomery and Mr. Jefferson Johnson and Ms. Mary J. Johnson of Tallahassee, Fla., loving and devoted godmothers Ms. Ruby Lee Crenshaw and Mrs. Ruby Shambray. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
