Faulk named ‘Rising Star’Published 2:07pm Monday, May 6, 2013
Greenville native Peyton Faulk has been selected to the 2013 Alabama Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list.
Being named to the list is a designation earned by fewer than five percent of lawyers in the state.
The Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys – those who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing 10 years or less.
The Super Lawyer designation is based on peer recognition and personal achievement, and involves a statewide nomination process, independent research on each candidate, and peer evaluation by practice area. Criteria that factors into the selection process include verdicts, settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, position within the law firm, bar or other professional activity; pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, education and employment background, and other outstanding achievements.
Faulk graduated from the University of Alabama in 1997 with a B.A. in history and graduated from Auburn University Montgomery in 2004 with a M.Ed. in Secondary Education/History.
She graduated from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in Montgomery in 2008 with a Juris Doctorate.
Faulk began practicing law in 2008.
She is now a solo practitioner in Montgomery.
