Mr. John Robert Lide, 68, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died at his residence on Monday, April 29, 2013.  Mr. Lide was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenville, retired as manager from First Lowndes Bank of Highland Home, a Master Mason of Eureka Lodge in Greenville, and a Shriner of which he was a member of the Alcazar Temple in Montgomery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.  The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Lide of Greenville; three daughters, Jana Gafford of Birmingham, Ala., Cindy Wilson (Sam) of Greenville, Ala.,  and Darlene Powell (Bob) of Adairsville, Ga.; son, James Aubrey Lide of Travis AFB, Calif.; nine grandchildren, John Nathan Ward, Gracelyn Kelley, Katie Wilson, Wes Powell, Chase Powell, Cody Lide, Jacob Lide, Aubrey Lide, Emmie Lide; two sisters, Peggy Harris of Bristol, Va., Sondra Parker of Frostproof, Fla.; nieces and nephews.
