The Luverne Police Department became involved after the men issued verbal threats.

According to the code of Alabama, a person commits the crime of making a terrorist threat when he or she threatens by any means to commit any crime of violence or to damage any property, including intentionally or recklessly terrorizing another person.

The code of Alabama also lists the charge as a Class C felony if the offender is convicted.

Authorities say that neither man was found to be in possession of any weapons.
