Army Sgt. 1st Class Kayland C. Teemer has arrived for duty as the center recruiting commander for the Chicago Army Recruiting Battalion at Chicago Midtown Army Recruiting Station, Ill.

She is the daughter of Norma Stackhouse of Georgiana.

Teemer graduated in 2000 from Georgiana School.
