Essie Lee Colvin Green, 89, a resident of McKenzie, Ala., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012. Funeral services were held Nov. 15, 2012, at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Alan Odom and Rev. Robert Watford officiating. Burial followed in New Home Cemetery with Johnson Funeral Home directing. Ms. Green was preceded in death by husbands, Lonnie Colvin and Claude Green; Daughter, Lottie Nell Colvin; Sons, John Allen Colvin and James Colvin. Ms. Green is survived by her Sons, Johnny M. (Donna) Colvin, Georgiana, Ala., Charles Colvin, Evergreen, Ala., Roy Colvin and Bobby (Janice) Colvin, McKenzie, Ala.; Sister, Verlie Stuckey, McKenzie, Ala.; Grandchildren, Kim Baker, Melissa Booker, Karen Smith, Russell Colvin, Chris Colvin, Ken Colvin, Trent Colvin, and Jason Colvin, and 15 great-grandchildren.
