Lions to roar over airways

The Greenville Lions Club will hit the airwaves Wednesday for the club’s annual Radio Day.

The event is the civic organization’s sole fundraiser for its charities, most of which revolve around eradicating curable blindness throughout the world and in members’ own communities.

Along with Lions reading ads on Q94 for participating businesses, listeners can call in to answer trivia questions read on air for a chance to win a number of door prizes donated by supporters. Listeners can also call in and vote for Butler County’s “Ugliest Man.”

The “Ugliest Man” winner will ride on the porcelain throne during the annual City of Greenville Christmas Parade.

The Lions will be on air from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
