Mr. and Mrs. Kerry and Kay Nixon of McKenzie announcement the engagement of their daughter, Jessie Elizabeth, to Jeremy Russell Booker, son of Ms. Allison Booker of Greenville, and Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne and Laura Booker of Heber Springs, Ark.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ladon and Barbara Scott of McKenzie, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond and Mary Alice Gorum of McKenzie.

She is a 2009 graduate of McKenzie High School.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. and Betty Kidd of Greenville, and Mr. Johnny Stinson and the late Mrs. Elsie Stinson of Georgiana.

He is a 2009 graduate of Greenville High School and is currently employed at Cambrian Ridge at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

No invitations are being sent but all friends and relatives are invited to attend.

The wedding is set for 2 p.m. on Oct. 6 at Antioch Pentecostal Holliness Church in McKenzie.
