The Butler County Ministerial Association is “standing in the gap” for students.

For the third consecutive year, members of the group will hold prayer walks at all of the schools in the county.

“We’re going to pray for all facets of our schools,” BCMA president Allen Stephenson said. “We want to stand in the gap and undergird our teachers and let our students know that there are people who care for them and are praying for them.”

The prayer walk for each school will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 26.

A representative from the BCMA will be in front of each school to lead the event.

“We’re encouraging everyone to come and take part in it,” Stephenson said. “We’d love to see parents, teachers, support personnel, administrators, retired folks and students show up and participate. Anyone who has an interest in seeing our schools do well, we’d like to have them join us to pray over our schools, students and teachers. We believe we can make a difference through our prayers.”
