In addition to the keynote address, conference goers could select from more than 50 workshop sessions led by leaders in the insurance industry who provided updates on topics ranging from developing industry trends to marketing local communities.

“Each year, I come away from our convention energized with knowledge about our own company’s initiatives and industry trends as well,” Waddell said. “This is time well spent for me and my business and will benefit my community when residents need our services.”

In addition to educational and professional development opportunities, the weeklong convention provides a chance for the SERVPRO® system’s more than 1,600 franchise owners to network with other owners and industry experts to learn and share the latest ideas. The convention also provides a forum for the company to recognize and present awards to franchisees who have gone above and beyond in their businesses.

“SERVPRO® continues to lead and innovate in the marketplace and we recognize that our franchisees are the driving force behind our success,” said Sue Steen, chief executive officer of Servpro Industries, Inc. “We are proud of their professionalism and we are confident Micah and all of our attendees returned home from this year’s convention with ideas and inspiration to continue to grow their businesses.”
