The Kennedy-Andress/Lockhart-Joiner family reunion was held on June 16 at Antioch East Baptist church. The church was founded in 1865 at the Lockhart home. Family members still attend the church. The reunion was hosted by the family members of the late Fred and Ina Andress Kenned. Approximately 70 family members attended from across the United States with John and Mary Bentley traveling the greatest distance in the United States, while Julie de La Tour d’Artsise and her son Philippe traveled from Paris, France. Julie is the granddaughter of Freddie Kennedy Perdue and the late Clady Perdue, and the daughter of John Mathis and Sandra P. Lohrisch. Following the reunion four generations of the Freddie Kennedy Perdue family traveled to Fort Walton Beach, Fla., for a weekend getaway.
