BCMP gets new name

The Butler County Motorsports Park has a new name.conductor

Owner Howie Garvin changed the name to Jr.’s Down & Dirty Speedway.The change in the venue’s name is effective immediately.

According to a statement released by Garvin, the name change is meant to reflect the change in ownership.

Garvin purchased the track from Bo Thagard in April, and has been operating the track under the name Butler County Motorsports Park for the past three months.

The website for the track will remain bcmps.com and races will continue to be held each Saturday night at 7:30 through the month of October.
