Air Force Airman Steven E. Holmes and Airman Tucker E. Harrell graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Holmes is the son of David Holmes of Sanders Drive, Elmore, and Suzanne Holmes of Fort Dale Road, Greenville.

He is a 2011 graduate of Stanhope High School, Elmore.

Harrell is the son of Donald and Angela Harrell of Honoraville Road, Greenville.

He is a 2011 graduate of Greenville High School.
