Simpler, Glover to wed Aug. 25

Mrs. Jeanette Hopkins Simpler and Mr. and Mrs. Miland Fredrick Simpler, Jr. of Montgomery announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Beeland Simpler, to Thomas Worth Glover IV of Birmingham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Worth Glover, III of Selma.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Miland Fredrick Simpler, Sr. of Andalusia, and the late Dr. and Mrs. William Beeland Hopkins of Greenville.  She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama School of Law.  Miss Simpler is a member of Kappa Delta social sorority. She is currently employed in Birmingham as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert B. Propst of the United States District Court.

The bridegroom-to-be is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ellis Talton, Sr. of Selma and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Worth Glover, Jr. of Guntersville.  He is a graduate of the University of Alabama and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Alabama Manderson School of Business.  Mr. Glover is a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity.  He is employed by Health Spring of Alabama in Birmingham.
